Here are the few words that Nick said at the interment of Pamela's ashes at the Surrey & Sussex crematorium near Crawley.
"Pamela, we all miss you so much. We hope that you find this quiet & peaceful spot a place where you would like to be for your final resting place.
It will remain forever, a place we can all come to be near you again.
We will all love you forever my darling and I will treasure my memories of you for as long as I live. You hold my heart in your hands for evermore."
The following poem was also read.
“When I must leave you
For a little while,
Please do not grieve
And shed wild tears
And hug your sorrow
To you, through the years;
But start out bravely
with a gallant smile;
And for my sake
And in my name,
Live on, and do
All the things the same,
Feed not your loneliness
On empty days,
But fill each waking hour
In useful ways.
Reach out your hand
In comfort and in cheer.
And I in turn will comfort you
And hold your near”
