My dearest and most cherished Pamela whose friendship I shared since we were 5 years old.  We were best friends then and throughout our lives.  Pam always showed immense kindness, gentleness and understanding.  Her sense of humour and infectious laugh were endearing.   When I think of you now my life feels richer, when we walked to school hand in hand I felt complete.  When we sung in the church choir together we had at times a mischievous glance at one another that only we alone would understand!  Our confirmation. The special evenings spent together at the church youth club where we learnt to jive were such fun and later we would practice at home together to improve our moves!  Such happy memories - always happy memories - we never had a cross word in the 67 years of our friendship.  I was blessed to have such a precious friend who will always be in my thoughts.  Bless you my darling for being friends with me.
